Nandita Chopra is a  biotechnology professional with extensive expertise in managing infectious disease programs, crafting vaccine pipeline strategies, conducting drug research, and advancing community education initiatives. She has also played a pivotal role in fostering relationships between the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the government of India.

Currently, Nandita serves as the NIAID Representative for South Asia at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), a division of the NIH. The NIH is the principal agency of the United States government dedicated to biomedical and public health research.

Nandita resides in New Delhi, India, where she continues to contribute significantly to the field of infectious diseases and public health.
