Radhika Chopra m Rajan Anandan
After a two-decade career in economics and finance in the US, Radhika Chopra returned to India to launch No. 3 Clive Road, a direct-to-consumer tea brand. Named after the location where her grandfather lived (now No. 3 Thyagaraja Marg, New Delhi) and where her father was born, this premium brand sources the finest full leaf teas. Each batch is meticulously handcrafted using local ingredients, establishing a direct link with tea producers.
Radhika's grandfather served as the comptroller for the British Government in India during the construction of New Delhi in 1931. "He maintained a beautiful diary that offered introspective insights into a changing world," Radhika reflects. "I wanted to preserve that history forever." She fondly remembers how her mother rescued this diary from being discarded after her father-in-law's passing in 1963. Radhika has thus immortalized her father's birthplace in Delhi during the British Raj through No. 3 Clive Road.
