Birinder Singh m Meena Chimni

Lieutenant General B.S. Nalwa, PVSM, was the 18th Commandant of the Defence Services Staff College from 1992 to 1994. He was married to Meena Chimni, the descendant of Hukma Singh Chimni, a valiant commander in Maharaja Ranjit Singh's army, who served alongside Hari Singh Nalwa on several occasions.
