Chand Kaur m Lehna Singh Gharjakh

Hari Singh Nalwa fathered two daughters—Chand Kaur and Nand Kaur.

Chand Kaur was married to Lehna Singh Gharjhak, son of Kahn Singh, a follower of the Sardar. The family was Khatri Sikh and lived in Gharjhak, a village founded by the Waraich Jats. Lehna Singh was with Hari Singh in the Battle of Jamrud. Following the death of the Sardar, he and his wife lived in Gujranwala with Hari Singh’s widow. Lehna Singh turned to religion and was renowned for his piety. On his death in 1893, half of his pension went to the government and the other half to his widow.
